About Parks

Parks Bonifay (PB) is widely regarded as the most recognizable and influential watersports athlete of all time. His path to iconic status started early; in 1982, Parks set a Guinness World Record for being the youngest waterskier ever. He was just 6 months and 29 days old! Parks eventually transitioned from waterskiing to wakeboarding and that’s when his legendary story truly unfolded.  During his illustrious career, Parks won multiple X Games Gold Medals, was a 5-time MasterCraft Pro Tour Champion, and also landed the first 1080 on a wakeboard (switch toeside). Parks laid the foundation for wakeboarding’s progression through his original style and a willingness to push the limit at all costs. Put simply, the sport would not be where it is today without his influence. In addition to all the previously mentioned accomplishments, Parks is a barefoot and bellyflop extraordinaire!

“At six months 29 days old I first waterskied behind a MasterCraft Stars and Stripes. From the start of my wakeboard career, I’ve been behind a MasterCraft ever since. Year after year I wonder how much better these boats can actually get, but it’s the relentless pursuit of progression that makes it possible for MasterCraft to keep raising the bar. From the first to the last, it’s MasterCraft."
