MasterCraft Statement

Waterway Advocacy

At MasterCraft, our passion extends beyond building the world’s best towboats. We are committed to preserving the waterways that make our sport possible and ensuring they remain accessible for generations to come. Today, more than ever, we recognize the critical importance of environmental responsibility, community collaboration, and advocacy in protecting the future of boating and watersports.

OUR COMMITMENT
RESPONSIBLE PRACTICES

As a proud supporter of the Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) and the Wake Responsibly campaign, MasterCraft endorses these essential principles:
• Stay at least 200 feet from shore, docks, and other boats and in a minimum of 10 feet of water while towing riders
• Keep music at a respectful level
• Minimize repetitive passes in the same area

These guidelines are about more than compliance, they represent courtesy, coexistence, and shared responsibility. We expect every MasterCraft athlete, ambassador, dealer, and customer to lead by example. Our sport thrives when everyone on the water—boaters, anglers, kayakers, and shoreline residents alike—feels respected.

WHY IT MATTERS

Waterway restrictions and access challenges are growing, often based on misconceptions about wake boats and their environmental impact. We believe education and shared responsibility—not broad regulation—are the solution. Our mission at a MasterCraft is simple: to build memories, not barriers. By working together, we can protect the freedom to enjoy the water while ensuring it remains a safe, sustainable, and welcoming space.

A CALL TO ACTION

To every member of the MasterCraft family: let’s lead by example. Operate responsibly, advocate respectfully, and help us preserve the waterways that fuel our passion. Together with WSIA and our partners, we will continue to advocate, educate, and innovate to keep watersports thriving for generations.
