MasterCraft’s Fifth Annual “Let Her Rip” Campaign Aims to Empower Women Nationwide

MasterCraft Boat Company has unveiled its plans for the fifth edition of the groundbreaking “Let Her Rip” campaign, furthering its mission to empower women and girls across the country through on-water activities. Announced just days before International Women’s Day, the initiative will bring a mix of new and returning locations to its lineup, offering the chance for women of all skill levels to develop their confidence and love for watersports in a supportive environment.

The 2025 campaign, backed by Progressive Insurance® and Chevrolet, will feature seven stops spanning from Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Lake Tahoe, California. The program’s new additions this year are Hot Springs, Lake Tahoe, and Charlotte, North Carolina, while favorites like Denver, Austin, Minneapolis, and Knoxville return to the schedule.

Krista Schipner, Vice President of Marketing for MasterCraft, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative’s continued growth. “Year after year, it’s amazing to watch these events fill up so quickly and see the eagerness women have to participate,” said Schipner. “Whether it’s driving the boat, perfecting their docking skills, or trying out water sports for the first time, these moments of empowerment are what ‘Let Her Rip’ is all about. Thanks to our incredible partners like Progressive and Chevrolet, we’re able to expand the program this year and reach even more women.”

The heart of the campaign lies in its clinics, led by professional female athletes such as world champion wakeboarder Meagan Ethell, TV personality and pro wakeboarder Alexa Score, and pro skier Ali Garcia. These experts will guide participants through key skills, including boat handling, docking, and watersports techniques, in a welcoming and fun setting. The goal? To ensure all participants feel encouraged, regardless of prior experience, so they can learn to enjoy watersports both in and behind the boat.

Ethell, who has been a key part of the campaign since its inception, reflected on its growing impact. “It’s incredible to see this community of women coming together on the water,” she shared. “Each year, I get to meet new faces, inspire them to push their limits, and share the sheer joy that comes from riding a wakeboard. These experiences aren’t just about the sport; they’re about building confidence and creating memories.”

Leveraging the strength of MasterCraft’s dealer network, “Let Her Rip” continues to grow as a movement focused on breaking barriers and fostering inclusivity in watersports. Progressive Insurance® has returned as a partner for a second consecutive year, helping bring the clinic to new locations and expand access to women and girls who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to participate.

This highly anticipated seven-stop tour will take place between May and July, visiting the following destinations:

  • May 4 – Hot Springs, AR
  • June 1 - Denver, CO
  • June 5 - Knoxville, TN
  • July 15 - Lake Tahoe, CA
  • July 24 – Minneapolis, MN
  • July 25 – Charlotte, NC
  • July 28 - Austin, TX

With each stop anticipated to fill up quickly, MasterCraft’s “Let Her Rip” campaign underscores a growing demand for thrilling, empowering opportunities for women on the water. This initiative not only celebrates skill-building but also embraces the essence of community, confidence, and inclusivity.
