LA NIGHT JAM III JUN 03, 2010

Combine the darkness of night, with the heat of fire, the intensity of extreme sports, the groove of live music and you have the LA Night Jam! LA Night Jam III presented by MasterCraft, is back in action and ready to rock greater Baton Rouge. This extreme sports competition combined with a family Louisiana festival is sure to be the most memorable night of the summer.

An estimated 6,000 spectators will be present during the finals to see the top 6 women and top 8 men jump death defying distances at night. Gates open at 5:00pm and the finals will start at 8:30 and continue through the darkness. General Admission is $20/carload. VIP opportunities are available at www.lanightjam.com and include unlimited food and drink through out the night as well as finalist hospitality access, private porto-pots and shade. Corporate packages also available.

Returning to the Jump scene this year will be the night jump world record holder, Freddy Krueger (USA). As an LSU grad, Freddy has always been a Louisiana favorite. Also fighting his way to the top and returning to the LA Night Jam is teenage prodigy Zach Worden. As the youngest competitor on the professional level, what he lacks in age, he make up for in intensity. This young star placed third in last years event and has his sights set on the top of the podium in 2010. Making a comeback from an injury last year during the LA Night Jam, Damien Sharman has already started the season off right. After taking home the gold down under at Melbourne, Australias Moomba Masters 2010, Damien is training hard and thirsting for another championship. The crowd gathers on a center levee that divides two man made lakes. Lake-One will be where the competition takes place. But until the show starts, Lake-Two is where its at with on-water demonstrations all evening. You can ride yolo boards and kayaks.

For all you wakeboarders out there (or those wanting to learn) - the latest and greatest sesitec system 2.0 cable available will be up and running. The Wake Park Project will be out all evening doing pro demonstrations and giving you riders a chance to test out a whole new realm of wakeboarding. As the sun goes down, the competition begins. This adrenalin pumping show will demonstrate athletes hitting the ramp on skis at around 70mph, before flying through the darkness reaching unbelievable distances.

This is certainly a night you wont want to miss.
