Get your boat ready to go.
Prepare your boat before you back into the dock by uncovering it, turning the battery on, and put the plug in.
Stay in one lane.
While backing in your boat make sure you stay in one lane to be courteous to those around you.
Drop the boat into the water.
When dropping it into the water make sure you leave the bow hook connected until the boat is fully in the water.
Keep in mind that each boat ramp and trailer are different so make sure you stop at the right depth. A rule of thumb should be to stop once the boat is floating off the trailer.
Disconnect bow hook before pulling away from trailer.
Loading the boat.
Approach slowly and aim the nose of the boat towards the bow hook. Remember that wind and currents are factors that can cause the boat to turn. If you end up crooked, back out and try again. It is better to take your time.
Connect the bow hook and manually crank the boat into place.
Pull the boat out of water.
Replace the transom straps, take out the plug, and put the cover on.
Now you're ready to launch and load your boat like a pro.
