the Best Summer Day in Lake Tahoe

Experience Lake Tahoe from Edgewood Resort

Lake Tahoe isn’t just a destination—it’s a bucket list trip for outdoor adventurers. As the largest alpine lake in North America, its legendary 22 miles of crystal-clear blue water, scenic hikes, wildflower-covered trails, and crisp pine air set the stage for making an unforgettable summer getaway. But if you’re aiming for next-level memories, only two names deliver the ultimate experience: Edgewood Tahoe and The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. These aren’t just resorts—they’re official MasterCraft Experience Centers

Sitting boldly on the southern edge of Lake Tahoe, this legendary destination has been turning heads since 1968. At its core: an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Tom Fazio, where legends have played and the American Century Championship keeps the energy high.

But Edgewood doesn’t coast on history. It’s earned five consecutive Forbes Four-Star ratings for a reason—with high-end comfort, knockout views, and a vibe that balances rugged adventure with refined luxury.

And now, it’s going full send. As an official MasterCraft Experience Center, Edgewood Tahoe gives guests exclusive access to a fleet of elite performance boats, including the XT24 and NXT24—ready and waiting at the resort’s private pier. Guests are given the opportunity to charter the boats by hour or by day and summer spots are booking now for May through October.

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe

Explore Lake Tahoe in style

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, a prestigious AAA Five Diamond resort, is known for its ski-in/ski-out convenience and year-round mountain adventures like hiking, biking, and nearby golf. But when summer rolls in, all eyes turn to the lake. Sure, you could paddle a kayak or wade along the shore—but staying at The Ritz means you’ve got access to something far more elevated: a captained MasterCraft X26. It’s a chance to explore Lake Tahoe in style, with power, comfort, and the open water all at your command.

The X26 is available to guests by the hour and comes fully equipped for wakesurfing, tubing, or simply enjoying a scenic cruise during golden hour. Each outing is customizable—guests can choose the route and explore whichever corner of Lake Tahoe calls them.

Rentals require a two-hour minimum and can accommodate up to six people per boat. All departures and returns take place at the resort’s private Lake Club pier, making the process smooth and convenient.
