MASTERCRAFT SIGNS PRO SKIER, FREDDIE WINTER

MasterCraft Boat Company announced it has recently signed a young powerhouse from the land of the Queen, Freddie Winter. Although the 2015 season was Winter's first year skiing pro, it is hard to tell from his trophy case. Winter recently placed 2nd at the Masters and followed it up a week later with a win at the Swiss Pro Slalom, putting him at number two in the world. Most recently, Winter was named Breakout Athlete of the Year by Waterski Magazine, signaling he will be a water skiing tour de force for years to come.

Not one to be content with an empty plate, Winter is pursuing a full-time education as a grad student at the University of Louisiana, Monroe, in addition to pursuing a prolific skiing career. His training schedule is nonstop, moving between Jodi Fishers Ski School in Central Florida and Bennetts Ski School in Zachary, Louisiana. Whether his secret to success is work ethic, his British heritage or Samson-like flowing hair, one variable remains constant - Winter hones his skills daily behind a long standing champion, the MasterCraft ProStar, in his pursuit of becoming a proven prodigy.

"It's a cliché to say, but it really is a dream to join the MasterCraft team, said Freddie Winter. As a kid I learned to ski behind a MasterCraft so for me it' is serendipitous to now be a part of the family. And with the legendary pull of the ProStar, I'm looking forward to working with and contributing to the team and reaching the top of the sport.
