The First Gathering Exceeds Expectations
On June 13th, 2026, MasterCraft owners from across the country came to the MasterCraft factory in Vonore, Tennessee for the first-of-its-kind vintage reunion. The Gathering brought together almost 100 vintage boats including the first prototype of the MasterCraft ski boat built in 1968.

Hundreds of guests walked around the show to see some of the most iconic boats in MasterCraft history while connecting with fellow owners who share a passion for preserving these timeless boats. Rob Shirley, founder of MasterCraft, came in his support and joined attendees in celebrating the brand’s remarkable journey.
With over 300 spectators, the response to the first reunion was incredible. There were almost 80 boats registered, from Stars & Stripes to special editions. Owners traveled long and far for this event, with the farthest making their journey all the way from Maine.

All For A Cause
Beyond celebrating MasterCraft history, The Gathering served a greater purpose. Through the event registration and donations, the MasterCraft community raised thousands of dollars for Special Spaces, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating dream bedrooms for children battling terminal illnesses. Every dollar from the event was directed towards helping make a difference for families facing difficulty.
The Gathering was a special reminder of the community that has been built over the past 60 years. And more than just a community, it was proof that the MasterCraft family's passion for craftsmanship and heritage remains stronger than ever.
