altenator bracket on 351W
hey does anyone have a picture of their bracket on motor? mine broke at the beginning of the year and made a temporary fix that needs to be replaced before something bad happens. if no one has a pic does anyone know where or how i can fix this issure. ski dim does not have one for these motors.

Is it a silver PCM engine or the black Indmar engine, IIRC they are different among marinization companies.

No1 those are perfect. thats what I thought the top looked like. thanks now i can measure dimensions and get it to a machine shop.

The top tube, 2 3/4" long and the bottom tube, 4 1/4" long are thick wall steel tubes, with the alternator mounted to the top tube and bottom of the alternator mounted to the arm, 1/4" thick mounted to the block/heads with bolts thru the tubes who's holes are slightly larger than the bolts.

I was thinking I fab something combing those two things (tubes and bolts). there is a lathe at my school so i just has to scrunge up some alumium or stainless steel.
