Fusion Radio in a 93' ProStar

This was my solution for my radio never getting wet again.

I took the original radio housing and made a cardboard templates for the front and back side you just make the same size for now (Note it will need trimming to fix because of the steering helm)

Then pick out the fusion radio you want ( I used the RA-50 Fusion) then centered my radio & cutout my holes for the radio in both the new pieces.

The front plate is 1/8 thick piece of aluminum and the back side you cant see is a 1/4 piece of aluminum. I placed the radio in the 2 pieces I cut out and lined everything up and marked my holes to (sand witch the radio to the dash).

all the screws that are holding the radio in place are behind the 2 tabs on the radio, because the back bracket is thick enough I tapped it for the proper screw size so there is no need to hold a wrench or socket on the back side.

its a very clean look, I just need to paint it black now and it will be complete
