Is this going to be the longest winter ever?

Its was the coldest November in Kansas in a long time.

Its 20 degrees today. Cant duck hunt because everything is frozen. Birds are gone.

I follow MC Melbourne in Australia on Instagram and its making me angry.

Boat shows are 2 months away.

I can only visit this site 100 times a day but for some reason its like watching a pot of water waiting for it to boil.

Last winter was first in kc for me, wasn’t too bad. I have serious concerns if I’ll make it through this one. Something has to give!

Buy an ice eater and a honda eu2000, some of our best hunts come when everything freezes up and we have the only open water. Plus with a hole open the birds have to land in your face, it's magical.

LOL. My friend has a place that has some ice eaters. Those do work, and can work well. To make matters worse the farm next to ours is AMAZING. 100 acres of beautiful flooded corn. Commercial Ice eaters. They draw way more ducks than we do. They darn near screw everyone in the county. Even the refuge. Hard to compete with an amazing setup. I tried to befriend them but they are kinda tools.

Yes, its going to be the longest ever. A very reliable forecast is predicting a cold and snowy winter thru March in the midwest based on patterns and history. Which makes it worse. Especially since i bought a new boat. Even thou i snowmobile, its going to be far too long. The spring of 2018 was also non existent.. we had hard water on opening fishing. Couldn't even start water sports til the middle of June and the water was still cold.

It's going to be bad. How do I know? My squirrels stare into the kitchen until I go outside and feed them.

In Alberta, we have had snow since September. It was the worst fall of boating in 10+ years. There are a lot of people starting to experience seasonal depression around here, because we are like 3 months into winter now.
