Any 370Z owners? Advice on getting used 1

I have a 1991 300ZX Twin Turbo that I've had for close to 20 years. I'm thinking about changing over to a 370Z. Just wondering if anyone has one, had one, really knows someone with one that can share any info.; do's, don't's, best year, is Nismo worth it, etc.?

for some reason that cl ad to me reeks of "this car has a huge amount of electrical issues" especially with the window motor and the second picture having wires just laying around. Plus saying they put 18k into it but only want 12k out of it. and they say "it has potential" another red flag for me that there are issues they are not saying. to me it does not pass any smell test at all but I am a skeptic on almost anything CL.

$18k of add-ons when new, sounds like the previous owner did them.

But something appears to be really wrong with the doors.

Yes almost everyone on this site is very skeptical of everything... anyways a 300z you've had for 20 years, I'd say keep it it's almost a classic!

300z TT to a 350/370z would be a disappointment. The 300 is a hard car to find in good shape now and tracking down a replacement that hasn’t been beat on or modified by someone who shouldn’t own a screwdriver is a tough task. Keep the z and add something to complement it if possible.

Agree 300ZX TT is way cooler than 370Z.

^^What he said.

That TT was a remarkable car for its time, I've spent some time driving and riding in one owned by a friend and it was ridiculous fun. Seating position so low it felt like a rocket powered gokart. His was a 1995 (I believe) and when new the price was over $50K all loaded up with the TT, HICAS 4wheel steering etc. Think of that in today's dollars! It could keep up with supercars of the time.

I wish I had bought that car when he sold it - 2 owners with 120K on the clock and no mods except that it was slightly lowered.
