PS 205 bimini top

For those of you that have these, do you use them more or generally keep them off the boat? We are thinking about getting one for our boat because I just hate getting fried in the sun. Any suggestions and pics of yours if you have one. I do not have a tower but will have a pylon in from time to time.

Thanks in advance and thanks to this forum for all the help so far with our first mastercraft purchase.

here is our '04 X2 (205) with bimini up. It attaches to the side of the windshield, 3 points per side. The bimini came with the boat but the fabric was shot, we took to a local upholstery shop and they put the new fabric on. We use ours all the time!!!

Never had one with my other boats. One came with our 2012 197...We thought we would never use it because we're on a smaller lake with a cottage. Not the case. Its is amazing how much cooler (temp wise) it is under the bimini. Plus not to mention your not frying yourself in the sun which is important! Here are a few pics of my boat with it up. The second one is with the fly-hi going through it. Had canvas person make holes and stitch around and then added zipper to close when fly-hi is not being used.

I have used the above, thru canvas bimini, for a skylon pole. Mounting bimini to the deck, gives more shade, over the windshield mount. Also, having owned a 94 PS205. You may want to consider, going ahead and invest in a tower. It'll clear up a lot of floor space.

2004 Red/White/Black something or other.

Unless it's an overcast day, I will not go on the lake without one, and I definitely will not drive for anyone without one. #skincancersucks

I got one from Bart’s a few years back with the hole for the skylon. Only used a few times, but like it. Boat is rarely out past 9am...

I opted for the integrated bimini when I ordered the New Dimension Mini tower last year. Cried when I wrote the check but smile every time I'm using it. Bimini is deployed quite a bit, prolly 75% of the time we're in the boat.
