Did I just build our new X-24? I'm not super mechanical but since I picked out everything, even down to the stitching, I think I just may have built it? I sure hope so...

Also, our home builder we hired never drove one nail into a piece of wood, but his contractors did... should I call him and tell him he's no home builder at all? I don't want to hurt his feelings...

Also, we still have our family farm... We call it the farm, but we aren't farmers... Now do we need to start calling it the house in the country?

Pardon me for rambling... I realize you just wasted approximately 25 seconds of your lives...

I agree that someone should have opened this can of worms in a whole new thread. Hehe . Sorry, to drag it on!...it is the winter time.

According to your statement, I need to update my resume...LOL

I am in the process of remodeling the basement, does that mean Im a “home builder”?

I also build/built aerospace parts, does that make me a nasa team member?

And I would think (IMO) that you customized your boat.

I would agree in this is a funny topic, because it affects so many people differently.

Can we keep this thread somewhat on-topic? Someone start a "What's a build" thread to keep these arguments going.

I upgraded the mirrors on my GM with power fold tow mirrors, but that option was already on the small mirrors... I am sure there is a "kit" you can get with all the parts I know GM has it.. a new door switch and then some wiring... might cost you more than it is worth or not... Depending on how old the truck you may be able to get after market ones too...

Just rented this truck over the Christmas holiday. 2018, 6.2L 10 speed.

Super nice truck and really felt much more lively than the Tahoe 5.3.

Drove it for 1200+ miles and 2 weeks. Mixed driving I got 18.4 MPG combined.

I'd say it drove very similar to the 2018 Expedition. The power and quickness of the two are very similar to me. Had a nice time with it and bonus.....only paid the price of an Explorer!
