First time for us in Minneapolis, Minnesota was on Sunday, June 2. Usually out in April. The crappy spring weather brought with it no wake allowed on many local lakes.

Been a tough spring to be a water sport enthusiast. Water was so cold my buddy used his drysuit. I used a full wetsuit. Glad to finally be on the water.

What a difference a couple of months makes!
Taken March 18- up at Lake Sonoma with my boys. Air temp probably low 70's, water in the upper 50's.

Taken June 3. The four young men in the photo graduated the previous Friday. Just a group of friends who I really appreciated having as students. Took them out for a day of fun on the lake. Air temp mid-80's, water low to mid 60's. No wetsuits required.
They had a ton of fun, and they were all pretty exhausted by the time we came off the water.

Well I might be last.. After running the boat twice for about 30 minutes on both Wed & Friday, Saturday I drove 90 minute to launch the boat. Fired right up at the ramp idled at bit then after a couple of thrust to back it off the trailer it DIED. First thought abrupt fuel pump failure BUT plenty of gas at the rail... next check for spark...nope no spark. BTW I had the kill switch on & off multiple times also pushing the button, still no spark. ... Home it comes for the mystery trouble shoot. Plan will be check for coil spark, bypass both the kill switch and neutral start switch if I can figure out how. I recall post about both, cap & rotor. If that doesn't work I don't know what else I can do. I don't think either the knock or crank position sensor will stop spark... Boat is a 2003 Prostar with the MCX Any suggestions welcomed
