Well, those of you that have seen my 214 know that we replace the rear center cushion with a carpeted piece of plywood to create a bit of a walk through to the swim platform. The idea came from our Ski Club President and myself and MGBOYD25 have been working on the 2nd edition.

Working on it today .....

I will be happy to send over the CAD drawing , Mark did a great job with it..... he was key! We need to adjust dimensions a bit since our initial drawing was for a carpet wrapped edition .... with this Sea Dek type product we can make it a bit wider.

I am also playing with some non slip on the bottom so it does not move at all when being walked on.

That is a good idea . I noticed the center cushion is showing stress at the seams .No one sits there anyways. How does it stay in place ?

214/X14 rear seats

I did the same, but used 1/2 inch marine board with a similar non-skid on top. Did the center for the walk through, and then did all three rear seats when I had them re-skinned. Now I leave the three in the rear when we ski. Replace them with the seats when taking the family out for a drive. In order to hold them in place I cut blocks from leftover marine board and screwed them on the underneath, in the same locations of rear seats.

The underside has the same 4 block locations as the stock center cushion, so we used the original cushion as a template.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
