1991 mastercraft prostar
Looking at this boat. Asking $7100. Has a 351, 1:1 tranny, heater, shower, & 1000 hours but still has great compression!! Everything else mechanically checked out a dealer's service shop. Is it a good deal? It will be my first MC so not sure on value. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Team Talk. Looks like a very interesting boat. Need some more details to be sure, but it sounds good so far. Interior pictures, engine pictures and trailer from all sides would help determine the value.

It looks like a nice boat, but your profile pic seems to be you standing beside it. Is it too cold in Cochrane to get it out on the water yet?

Honestly, at $7K... I'd buy that boat in a heartbeat... Enjoy! Or take me skiing, that works too...

Wife was really excited so took a pic at the dealer. Needs a good polish but interior does not even have a seem let loose yet

If the engine and trans are sound, the running gear (prop, strut...) are good, and the trailer is reasonable, then this is a genuine deal. The reverse gel red and white color is really cool.

Bought it!!
Well Gentlemen,
I've purchased by new MC. $7100 plus 5% for GST. Imported from Hagadone Marine. They were great!! Drivetrain looks good, test drove and everything checked out (went through East Tx skier's checklist (Thank You), one speedo not working, looking at getting a new prop Acme 543 (maximize my hole shot). Thought about Perfect Pass but I have a GPS that I will most likely just mount on windshield (freeski) no course close. Trailer needs new carpet and a polish but has new tires on it. We kind of fell in love with the reverse color scheme. Ruby's her name. Super excited  Jason
