Technical Training Services

Technical Training Services is a unique training facility that provides hands-on learning. Although we facilitate learning in many facets of engines and system repair, the bulk of our training is in electrical and electronic system diagnostics and repair.

Our goal is not to merely disseminate information but to facilitate learning. Our instructors don’t just teach with an effort to throw the information out there with hopes that the students “get it.” Instead we work hard to make sure that learning takes place.

Technicians are typically hands-on learners. They learn best actually working on technical devices rather than merely sitting in a classroom trying to catch information. Our classes focus on hands-on learning skills and on making certain that our students fully understand the course content. With more and more electronic devices in the marine and automotive industry our classes focus on key diagnostic measures. We work on actual running engines using the latest in diagnostic hardware and software.

We also teach theory of operation so if the technician finds him/herself in the familiar position of not having a service manual or diagram, they can still provide diagnosis and repair on unfamiliar items.

The classes are fun, interactive, and significant time is spent on hands-on diagnosis and repair.

Come join us for a series of short and very concentrated learning experiences.

It’s spam when you post the same ad 4 or 5 times saying the same thing.

Wasn’t last one locked and then deleted?

There hasn’t been a dealer here since BAWS.

Will MC authorize people from independent shops to do service work on their boats? That would allow for more shops around the country, rather than just dealers and when people bypass the dealers for service, that indicates a huge problem.

Or, are you only training on pre-Ilmore technology?

I would seriously doubt that.
