I’ll agree with jkski on all three, including the tanker. LOL

Love the O’Shag!!

Ok - so maybe a venue change is not in order, and we stick to the Hallowed waters of O"Shughnessy Reservoir.

With that being said, is there anything else about the event to help highlight the fact that it is the 10th Anniversary? We have some ideas here at Bash HQ but looking for any meaningful input from our lovely user base.

Some ideas:

Pig Roast
Band/DJ on the water
Full manufacturer demos (have 3-4 new boats out there with the marina guys for demos)
One of those giant pillow things you can launch people from
Floating trampoline
Awards for those who went to all 10 years (something like a fake gold watch or a preferred parking space at the ramp )
Best speedo modeling contest
Poker Run
Scavenger hunt
etc.

Anyone see this?

https://www.columbus.gov/Templates/D...?id=2147506143

Looks like O'Shay will be 3.5' low all next year. I don't think the water was even that deep where the tie up is!

If I read it correctly, they will lower it Fall of 2019 and it will stay that way all Winter and some of Spring. But be back up Summer 2020. Should not affect Buckeye Bash 10 or 11. Am I reading that right?

My reading and what I've seen posted elsewhere is it was dropped Oct this year and will be low until spring 2020.

I first saw the link on a fishing forum here:

There are some pictures posted of the work in progress.

All true, the City sent us a heads up (since we run a club on the lake, and coordinate the slalom course)

Basically this means that the water level will be at similar levels as they were last year during August. Which was the lowest we like it to be.

The Buckeye Bash Management team is considering all options and will announce the venue if it changes in January.

Rest assured folks, Bash 10 is happening and will be the biggest and best to date!

I propose Berlin Lake as an alternative location.

Hmmm. Urban Meyer retires … on the same season that we have Buckeye Bash 10 ….. he may remember that one fine August Day where he saw us all having fun ….

Coincidence? I think not ……
