Opinion on Dashcams?

I'm in the market for a dashcam for my truck and I've been looking at the Thinkware F800Pro and the Blackvue DR750S-2CH. Does anyone have experience with either or could recommend another brand/model?

My interest has sparked because a dealership damaged my truck during service and I wish I had one of these cameras at the time. Another guy on YouTube posted a video last month of a dealer abusing his Shelby and luckily he caught it all on his dash cam. He was using the Blackvue model. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ufwfnwkx4d4

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have the blackvue. It's been running for almost two years without any problems. Use the blackvue memory cards, I had trouble with others.

I have caught 1 accident that I was not involved in, used footage to get a drunk driver prosecuted and many close calls with deer.

I have the blackvue 750 single channel. Almost one year of use and no problems. Wishing I'd gotten the 2 channel.

Simple to remove the chip and download video.

A little cumbersome to connect for live view on a mobile device as it goes through Wifi. But that's not a feature I see a use for on a regular basis for me.

Completely agree with you. This was for two safety recalls I couldn't do myself. Supposed to take one hour. 11 days later I got my truck back.
