That's what I'm hoping. My wife is very interested in low speed (idle) maneuverability. We go out Thursday night. I'll return and report.

Handling at speed was significantly improved, but handling at idle (AKA marina) was not. Overall, I'm satisfied with the upgrade. That's my report.

Perhaps. My 12 year old daughter was driving the boat for a tube ride for my son and his 4 friends (huge 6-person tube) and was aggressive enough to flip the tube. He may think there's downside.
Other than the cost of the rudder...no downside.
