I really haven't been to Copper in about 15 years but I understand it's pretty nice now. A few of my friends who live out in the people's republic of Boulder go there quite often.

I love Copper. One of the most underrated ski resorts in the US in MHO.

It's been a few years since I've been to copper, but they used to groom like crazy, and you could buy vouchers off craigslist for discounted lift tickets. Plus the price for a regular ticket was significantly less than Vail or breck.

When I lived out there (01-03), Copper was my favorite. Mainly because it was less crowded than Breck or Keystone, and they always had their terrain park open first, so I could get some park laps in. It also used to be the cheapest pass. Wells Fargo customers could get a season pass for Copper/Winter Park for $100. Actually I think it was 2 for $200, but you could always find someone else who needed a pass to go in with you. Now you can barely get a one day ticket for less than $100...

Has to be Keystone or Breck. Our Local Passes work on all the Vail resorts and those two are my favorite in no particular order.

I am going to buck the Vail trend here. My son boards and hates Vail because of all the cat walks.

We ski Breckenridge annually and love it. Peak 6 has some good advanced run and is less crowded. Copper Mountain is in the area as well and typically has better lift prices. Keystone is fun as well - and has night skiing as a bonus if you want more time on the slopes. If you are using an Epic pass, Copper Mountain is not part of that plan.

Had one in HS and Mom threw it out. There is another in my closet now and almost gave it a spin just a few nights ago. Wifey isn't a big fan of that shirt. Tolerates it, but indulges me.
