Swim Platform Black Rubber Sealing

I wanted to order a new Swim Platform product for my X2, but since Mastercraft isn't allowing their logo to be used. I have to wait until they figure out approvals.
The main reason I wanted to replace the swim platform material is because the factor black rubber comes off on the bottom of your feet and transfers black marks onto the interior of the boat. Not cool.
My question is, has anyone sealed or cleaned the factor rubber ? I'm thinking some sort of clear coat maybe. Any info would be great.

If you don't want to spend big bucks on a temporary solution I'd remove the black rubber and buy a roll of hydroturf and cut it yourself. Easy to do, comfortable and you can get a roll for ~$75 if I remember correctly.

Same issues with black coming off on 03 platform

I know its older than that. I had it on an early X7. I guess the black rubber is close to 15 years old. I guess it's not suppose to last forever.
I was thinking about using clear coat in a spray can to try and reduce the issues. What about the black rubber paint that's on TV that can seal anything.
Any other suggestions will help probably a lot more users.
