    Hi Jim,
Looks like we may sell the M/C due to lack of interest and high cost. What do you think it could be worth? 940 hours extra prop and boom runs perfect.
Hope you can give me a price to start at. NADA says about $13,500.00. Is Team Mastercraft a good site to sell it on?
    Thanks Jim!

I don't have an idea about the salvage value but I would recommend replacing the whole electrical system. Once that stuff gets wet, it's only a matter of time before it has problems, some of which may be dangerous. Changing over to diesel sounds like a good idea, though. Have you contacted them to find out how much they want? If you call an insurance agent, they should be able to tell you more about its salvage value. If the owner's insurer does total it, you'd be buying it from them, not the boat owner. Offer low- the worst they can say is "no".

It's a flame top '58 Historic reissue, owned by Greg Koch, AKA Gristleman (if you're familiar with the Fender Discussion Forum). He did the Vintage Amp CD for the Tom Wheeler book called 'The Soul of Tone- 60 Years of Fender Amplifiers'. The Tweed Bassman is mine and although the cabinet, speakers and hardware are riessue parts, the chassis is 1958 vintage and was used for the same Vintage Amps CD in the book. There are no photos of mine but that's basically because looking at it from the front or sides is like looking at a reissue model. The vintage tweed Bassman in the book is almost pristine.

The Black Face Twin Reverb and Super Reverb amps to the sides of my amp are also on the Vintage Amps CD.
