I do not have the VIN to the Porsche, not wanting to be pushy. My uncle has had some health problems and if we do anything I believe it to be spring? He's talking about giving up his A5 Audi and this 996 and doing a newer 911 so this will all take time and I can get VIN as soon as we get a little more involved. What are your ball park thoughts on a $?

Hi Aric,
I know you are in the Dallas/FW area and wondering if you are familiar with a couple of upholstery shops in that area. I've visited the Upholstery Shop in in Haltom City already. Also considering going with Boat Interiors Designs/ MasterCraft SeatSkins at 133 Sport Parkway, Keller, TX. The third one I have a quote from is Viper in Tennessee as well.
Hoping you can tell me something about the guys in your area? I've seen the mixed reviews from Viper and our local shop here in Chicago area has recommended Viper as the best around.
Appreciate your help here.
Mike

Aric,
I just bought a used 2012 X25 boat with 57 hours on it and now I have read a few not so nice messages about the 2012 boat and its display. however it is a done deal and we had a good time on it this memorial day weekend. However could you help me with the setting on surfing for that boat? I have young kids 13, 10, and 8 and only have factory tanks on board. is this doable. Sorry you seem to be the guy everyone turns to when it comes to an 2012 X25... Any help would be great.
Thanks
Jed Dorough

Hi Aric- What size bags do you run in your X30? I have the stock ones in my 16 x30 and just heard I can go larger-- not sure what I need though

Aric, although some people on this site seem to enjoy throwing you some shade, you appear to be as connected as anyone here. I am hoping you know or have a way to get an answer to my questions: I own a 2017 xt21 demo boat with the plug n play bags. The bags that came with the boat are labeled fo the xt23. There is no designation as to how many pounds they hold. I know the rear ballast on my boat is listed as 900# each side. What I am trying to find out is “does the size of the bags differ between the xt23 and the xt21?” and “what size bag do I have?”. My bags don’t completely fill the compartment before water exits the overflow port, about 5” of air space between the filled bag and top of the locker. I have measured the rear compartments and they are 35L x 25W x 25H, which is the same size of the WakeMakers 890# bag. Looking to increase ballast load in the boat, but it would be nice to know how much I will have in the rear if I put the 890#’s in. I already have 400# of lead that I will use to find the perfect balance front to rear. This obviously is my plan to impact my surf wave. I understand wakeboard wake will be different. Hopefully you can answer my questions or direct me to someone that can.

Hi Aric,
I am looking to buy my first boat. I have a wife and two girls (9&12 yrs old). I am looking to try surfing. I just posted a WTB thread in the forum for a 2013-2015 x-30. I live in Granbury, TX. Do you happen to like your x-30? Also, do you know of any for sale?
Thanks,
Rhett

MC25,
I have seen you comment a few times about how much you like the X26 surf wave. My wife and I are considering upgrading from a 2016 X23 to a 2018 X26 and was curious if you thought the X26 surfs as good as the X23.
We love our X23 but wanted to upgrade to a bigger boat. I demoed a couple different X26 at TXMC and did not think the wave was as good as the X23. I noticed that the surf settings used during the demo did not fill up all the ballasts 100% and was curious if you used different settings. I would have thought since the X26 is bigger (more surface area), it would need more weight to offset the surface area.
I can't seem to find much talk about the X26 on TT and would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks.
