Slingshot sports really pushed their foils for wakesurfing this year and they put out a video showing what their pro riders can do. They show 4 people riding successive waves behind a boat! They even show surfing behind a jet ski, yes, a jet ski.

I myself got really carving well this summer behind my boat but I did not get out as much as I wanted.

If all went well people should be able to see this link even without a FB account.

Watch Ebay and some of the kitesurfing web sites. $300-500 is not uncommon for a whole setup now. The problem is the technology is changing rapidly and so the new wings are freaking amazing.

Not sure I see how you are arriving at that conclusion

Not really surfing behind the jet ski... He's pumping his way around back there. That being said it's awesome and I'm all in.

We don't have any video yet but at 12 mph I can foil surf the 1st, 2nd and 3rd wave behind my X14 with no ballast. I can ride along with no rope no problem.

Me and a bunch of my friends. We have our 3rd summer now on them and some are really good. One guy is jumping fully out of the water on one. I did not get out as much as I would have liked but I can carve like endless snowboarding and I in some cases can ride the wave with no rope. But I am just learning that so it is not always a super long ride for me. I have 4 foils and all of them are very different in lift, speed to lift, carving, ability to handle cavitation (running too high in the water = bubbles = down you go!).
