Don't know anything about your new boat, but enjoy it and this board just the same... :steering:

I think the Duvall was dressed up a little. The 209 is a great boat. I hear it skis well and has plenty of room.

Is it your first boat? Good choice if it is, or even if its not. Are you a water-skier or a rider??

Oh, dja get that photo fixed up??

I drove a Sammy for a camp for a year and loved it. It was the fastest out of the hole but was the slowest on the top end. I prefered it over our X-9 and a 209. Have fun!

How did you just "end up with" a 30,000 dollar boat? Please enlighten me, because at the end of this summer, I would like to be in the same situation :D

sometimes people own car dealers, or make trades, knowing value and accepting it, w/o research, if this is the case, he made a good decision.

Derrick -

You "ended up with" a great boat. It is like "ending up with" a limited edition Corvette (only even more practical and fun).

Take good care of it. If your bro in law purchased it new, if he didnt give you the 'goodie bag' that came with it, see if he will. The Sammys came with some signature items (hat, shirt, duffle bag (varies)) that would be nice to have with the boat.

The Sammys are awesome - have fun with it!

I've got a 2002 Sammy 209, and it is great. A buddy of mine who tours the world wakeboarding, likes the wake better than an X-9 he rode behind. Plus I have other friends who are on a ski show team, and we can pull as many folks as we want. We consider it like a Cadlliac. Great ride, great looks, but then can haul a** if need be. The perfect boat. We got ours last summer and I am finding it hard to see a better all around boat.
