Any suggestions on starboard side surf wave. I ride goofy.( all those years as a kid skateboarding with right foot forward) Still dialing in but not nearly as clean as port side with factory gen2 settings with 100% ballast (hard+ bags in rear lockers). Just driver + spotter so not a lot of extra people weight.
Wave is decent on mellow setting with good push but just not shaped as long or clean.

Appreciate anyone who found a different config.

400lbs of lead in nose. Upgrade rear bags to 750+. I have wake makers 820lbs in rear lockers. Can put additional 1100 on the floor. X30 likes belly weight. IMO. Speed at 11.2 - 11.7

Drop the port side ballast to 80%

Get yourself the larger WakeMakers bags and add another 300 lbs lead bags (LeadWake) amidships and say 100 lbs in the nose. Most X30 guys here run the 750 lb bags in each of the X30 lockers.

However, I'm pretty confident you could fit Wakemakers 820 lb bags in your lockers as those are what are stuffed in my X10. Check out their website. Note you'll also need three plugs and two quick fitment fittings for each of their bags.

^Walnut beat me to it, do the 820 lb bags.

I too run 750s in the rear lockers. Add a 750 on the floor like walnut said and it gets stupid good.

750s in the rear with slightly less in Starboard bag for better Regular Wave
750 on the floor starts to get really good as Aric mentioned
More than that or More Crew and you MAY need to reprop

Never tried POP but my Leadwake bags are top notch. Very heavy duty and easy to move around. Only bad thing about them is the looks you get when u pick them up at ththe Post Office.

Ok, thanks for all insights. I upgraded to 750s. Wave is bigger but wondering what tab settings folks like best for goofy.

Goofy family here. Optimized X30 surf:

- 1100 WM bags at 95% full or more, 100% full tanks otherwise
- 350 lbs lead (100 surf corner, 50 other aft corner, 150 under observer, 50 nose).
- Tabs 100% port side, zero center, zero starboard
- 11.0MPH for best combo steep and long, faster for longer or 10.8MPH for the wall.
