image on pc looks great IMO, but the flake sample at my dealer is loaded with black specs and makes the orange a bit rusty looking....

thanks for looking, tedious process!

I have about the opposite of that with mostly friction orange flake. I think it looks really good. It is a little darker than online when not in the sun but when the sun hits it is pops.

Based off of Ryfly's pics I think it'd look great!

Thanks for the pics and replys! Ryfly your boat looks Awesome! Im designing the XT---Im almost thinking that mixing friction orange on the top and the flake on the side is not a good idea as they look pretty different. Maybe just friction orange and skip the flake????

I generally agree about orange but that boat is sweet.

I was not a fan of orange until I had orange. Now orange is one of my favorites.

Are you a Tennessee Volunteer fan?

A guy on our lake has a friction orange and gray Prostar. On build-a-boat, I never wouldn't considered it, but it looks really cool in person.

Wow that almost converts me over to orange. How about a orange/gunmetal flake combo?

Believe that's a Clemson flag in the second pic

Yes, I'm there quite a bit now... I asked the guys in the pro shop about you, said you were a solid guy. Might try to schedule a trip for the Texas round up and catch a ride with someone.

Come on down! I'm sure there are more than enough boats for you to bum off of.

No I am a Clemson fan and I like the color orange.

73blue good eye there you must have and eye for the paw. That is not a great view to be able to determine the flag.

Thanks again everyone.

Opinions on changing my original build from flake friction to flat friction orange.

I went Friction Orange Flake as well. And Friction Orange on the front deck of our new Prostar. I like Orange so I am biased, but I think it looks great.

Thanks!

Here's an X30 our dealership brought in last year for inventory. Friction orange has such a cool personality!

OP, get some black in there so it doesn't look like a creamsicle.

When the boat is in the shade it looks a little copper but when in the sun it is full on orange
