Drove 2,200 miles over 44 hrs to get this one and bring it home.

I hope to never in my life break that record. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170408/df22a684de9a7dcbb7bc836849f18458.jpg

I think you'll like it. We like our X1. It does everything we need it to do.

It's pretty basic but it was a GREAT deal.
-710 hrs on an RTP-1
- MC Cruise, not PP
- standard ballast
- new stereo system
- interior is 7/10, hull is 9/10, mechanical is 10/10

It's "move in ready" right now, I'll maybe just do a few smalls things to get it the way I want it. The seller was fantastic to work with.

I've had a 2002 X-Star and 2003 X-2 before so I already know I'll love it.

Begs the question, if I may, why did you get rid of the 02 and 03, since your new boat is essentially the same?

Addiction, really.

I have owned six MasterCrafts in the last seven years. The longest I've kept one is two years...shortest was a month. My thing is I find a killer deal to score, use it for a season or so and then sell for a profit. I've turned a profit on five straight boats. Based on the price I paid, this will be six.

If anyone's looking, I'm sure I'll have this one on the market sometime in the next 6-12 months. Here's my history....

1989 ProStar - 1 year, $1,000 profit
1998 SportStar - 2 years, $3,500 profit
2002 X-Star - 10 months, $6,000 profit
2003 X-2 - 1 month, $5,000 profit
2006 X-2 - 16 months, $2,000 profit
2006 X-1 - 1 day and counting

About two or three boats ago, I quit telling my wife, "You know, I think we're gonna keep this one for a while" because my track record did not support my verbiage. Fortunately, she trusts me to make sound decisions. Now, it's just become a game. If I don't see $5k in equity when I buy it, I don't bother.

Makes sense. Good on ya. I've done that with a few cars.
