Hi guys,

My name is Simon and i bought the boat to wakeboard and wakesurf more this year, i sold my old small boat and just kept my standup jetski to put on the platform :)

I just went out 1 time this year and found some small stuff I want to change.

GEN 1 surfsystem need to be replaced, only middle tab is working, outer tabs are working, but not with original switches. I opened up the ebox and it was full of water, so I guess it's damaged.

Also do you have any recommendations to check the stock ballast tanks, I don't have any timer or gauge. Filling is no problem, i can just check overflow, but empty them... how to know how much is still in without letting the pump run dry?
Maybe u have any Tipps for me.

Very Nice X25. Welcome to the club!

My X25 is a couple years newer so my timers are connected to my Murphy system display.

There are lots of people on here with your year X25 that will help.

Good luck!

On the empty Ballast side of things. Let the time do its job.
When you return to the Dock or Launch, with Motor OFF run each pump separate and listen for a change in sound the tend to get louder/sound different when empty.

If you are pulling out on a trailer or lift it is easier to just watch for water out of the bottom.

Thanks, und Dankeschön :)

I don't have touch display, but happy with just the manual switches.

Iam not concerned about the pump running dry when Iam driving, but I let my sister and her boyfriend also use the boat, so they are not very deep into technical stuff, and I just want to prevend it with some safety devices.

I through about a timer or a sensor that's shows the waterflow when pumping out, but I don't thrust China stuff for 13 Dollar not that much to be honest...

Iam going to hard wire the trim tabs with rocker switches, and have a look over wakemakers or similar system.

Hi Simon,

Grüße aus Magdeburg/Brandenburg!

Nice X25, from Holland?, Trailer looks like it ;) where are you at?

about the ballast pumps, you might want to think about some timer relays that cut off after an adjustable period, check your PM

not sure about the jetski on the platform, should be ok when static but not sure about riding around/towing it on the platform. Maybe a search will turn up ideas.

what is this Box doing? Wherefore is the hole under the Amp? I found in ballast tanks level sensors, but they are not connected under the dash. Can i just use manual gauges to show the level, or is something missing?
Build my surf tabs now, and going to control it by android app, until now its only hard wired to see how they perform. I just modified my gen1 stuff.
