Is there any thing I need to do to make sure the factory warranty transfers when selling my boat?

Thanks

There is Warranty Transfer paperwork that needs to be submitted to MC. This was filled out by my dealer... Ironically they forgot to send it in, but fortunately it was not an issue.

Connie at MC helped get me sorted. [email protected]

And don't forget to attach the $500 check to go with it.

Remember it can only be transferred once, so if you didn't buy it new you won't be able to transfer to the new owner.

Isn't it like a 800 dollar fee

That's why passed on a 2015 with only 90 hrs last fall. The 2015 had 2 official owners so no warranty transfer was possible making the extra cost not worth it over the 2013 I bought. MC told me it would have been $500 to transfer the 5 yr warranty when I called to inquire about the number of owners.

I bought it new.

It's $500 and form is in the back on the owner manual. Thanks all.

The warranty card in the back of my 2015 owners manual says $800.00. I hope I can still transfer the warranty. I kinda had this on the back burner with the holidays and everything. I am going to mail it in today. I hope they allow me to transfer. Anyone had any issues with it being passed the 14 day cutoff?

I transferred mine past 14 days but it took assistance from the dealership where I bought the boat. I thought it was something they did, the dealer didn’t tell me otherwise. Anyways it was smoothed over by the dealer. I ended up needing it because the engine blew up a couple weeks after I bought it.

I am surprised that Mastercraft donít provide an online process to be able to transfer the warranty. It would be nice to be able to type in the HIN and find out whether the warranty is transferable.
