To make a long story short, I need MC part # 450120 and 508258 both parts are back ordered. Any experience with how long this is going to take?

damn - that TPS is becoming a real PIA... how long a wait? Some people have cleaned it.

There's a thread around here somewhere... Bruce at Action water may have some... Action Water Fenton MI,

http://www.actionwater.com/

I think there was a fix - but I can't find that thread.

Thanks, I will check with them tomorrow. I've called dealers all over the country. I'm a new MC owner had no idea parts would be this hard to come by. I ordered the wiring harness from a California dealer that already had two on back order. And the new throttle control assembly from Charlotte Ski boats do to the great price. Both dealers have been very helpful. Just hoping this doesn't drag out all summer.

How did you trace the TPS down to being your problem?

The throttle stopped working correctly, idling at 1,000 rpm instead of the normal around 500 rpm. At first you could bump the throttle back and it would return to a normal idle. It continued to get worse until the check engine light came on and went into safe mode idle only.

You'll find here which dealers and parts providers stock the right parts.
