View Full Version : Flag pole mount for tower?

Our local lake has a 4th of July parade and my kids really want to get the red and white mastercraft out this year for the parade. I would like to fly a nice decent size (~2'-3') American flag at the top of the tower. I've looked for flag pole mounts and only found little whimpy ones. Anyone know of a mount that could hold a pole for a *real* flag? For other times it might be nice to fly a pirate flag up there. Arrr!:cool:

I bought this mount from airboom and one of their flags. the flag pole is about an inch wide so pretty stout. I modified the flag holder(it's a piece of wood inside the pole) and attached/stapled an Auburn car flag. I'll take a picture this weekend if you want. If you wanted to go full size flag you would have to modify the flag pole with some pvc or something...

I bought this one and have it installed on my tower. It's good looking, very sturdy, and comes with rubber bushings that allow it to fit almost any diameter tower. I've flown a full size 3' x 5' flag from it several times with no problems.

Thanks, Nashville. I just ordered one of those. Where did you get the flag pole that fits it?

Flew the jolly roger from our extended pylon for a couple summers. Next thing you know half the damn lake has one. Put it in storage and ordered a US flag. Black looked good on the gray/black stars and stripes, but the red, white and blue looks great with anything.

I purchased one of H2OSports aerial flag pole holders for the tower on my MC X30 but can't find a flag pole that works with their holder, including from H2OSports. Anyone know where to find one? Thx
