I checked a lot of boxes when I ordered my 2006 X9 but did not get tower speakers. I would like to add them and have purchased the cans. The next step is to mount the cans. Any advice on how to drill the mounting holes? What is used to plug the hole left on top of the tower? Advice on running wires?

Break tower down to run wires,, and there is a guy on hear that makes the brushed aluminum caps for the top of the tower. I have two cans with JL factory speakers that look brand new. I took them down this winter and went with wetsounds. If you can't find his post let me know i have his email somewhere.

MI Corey: I am interested in the "hole covers". (Please contact me at [email protected]) What size hole do I drill? Is it larger at the top vs bottom as you drill thru the tower? How do your covers fasten to the tower?

I've been told to use a shop vac and dental floss to thread the tower and pull the speaker wires. Sounds like a slick plan!
