Hey guys sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm a novice when it comes to boat repair.

My 2011 Mastercraft X15 with 65 hours on it just started overheating and gave me a Coolant/ Overheating message yesterday. Is this probably an impeller problem or water pump? Is this a difficult repair and should I attempt it myself?

I'm very short on time as we are leaving for a lake in Florida (towing the boat with us) for 6 weeks on Thursday or Friday and Riverbend is starting on Friday so every boat mechanic in Chattanooga is busy.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would start with the impeller

Plus one on the impeller. I would also check the intake screen for debris. Not sure where it is on the newer boats. Mine is in the intake of the transmission cooler.

Yep, the impeller was shredded.

I do want to brag on Cleveland Boat Center and how fast they fixed my boat. I brought it in at 12:45pm and they had it fixed by 3:15pm. Service after the sale. Good people.
