Can anyone recommend a 12v vacuum? It would be convenient to use boat power to quickly clean it up.

Does Shark make one that can plug in to a 12 volt outlet on the boat? I found one brand that barely gets the job done but looking for a better alternative.

Shark does not show a 12 volt on their website. Am I missing something?

I would recommend getting the Dewalt DC 500 battery operated vacuum. They have a newer model, the DCV 580, but I dont know how good that one is. It is very powerful and can handle liquids. The best part is it uses the Dewalt battery packs, the same ones as the drills. I use my batteries for both. Its pricey, but was exactly what I was looking for to clean up the boat after a day of the kids snacking all over it!

This is what I have at the lake. Another great feature is that it works both cordless and corded.

Thanks for the replies. I have a 14.4v dewalt drill, so it would be nice to stay within the same family of battery packs. One of my packs is shot though. I do like the corded feature.

I haven't tried the 12v accessory plug version but I love the the 110v version. Would give it a try and return to amazon if you don't like. https://www.metrovacworld.com/Metro_Vac_N_Blo_Jr_500_Watt_Hi_Performance_Hand_Va c_Blower

We use the "data" version at work and they are powerful for how small they are.
