I have a DJI Phantom with one of my GoPro 3 (black) attached with an anti-jelly mount, first test over the water, ha kinda scary.

That takes nads to fly a copter from inside a boat and not worry about it getting wet. Impressive. Oh, and the boarding was good too. :toast:

Great video!! I have the same setup except I added the brushless gimble to eliminate the jumpiness. Just waiting on the weather. Cant wait to get some things on video. Not as talented as that boarder though...

This is really amazing truly. 30 years ago my Mom would snap pictures of me sking and send them snail mail to my grandmother. A week later she would get the pictures and send a note back. Now, we have HD Quality video and a birds eye view that can be sent to grandma in real time via youtube, email, whatever. It's almost as if we're all there.

The combo of tech and real life stuff (water sports) creates a situation where it can be shared with anyone and can bring us all together.

Especially, Grandma. Yes I love Grandma. She rocks. :D

Good stuff. I am shopping one myself right now. Is the jerkiness just you getting used to it or is there something that can keep that from happening?

It doesn't show well in the videos but it was blowing relatively hard that day, so I fighting gusts and the wind.

Z13, here is a short test video of how a Brushless Gimble will eliminate a lot of the camera movement. As you see the Quadcopter leans forward and sideways, the camera stays relatively level. The only thing I dont like is how the front blades show in the video, therefore, I plan to aim my camera down most of the time. I love this stuff!!!
