I just bought a 2006 MC X1 and was wondering if anyone knows a website or dealer that has a dealer for a decent price.

Thanks!

Come on now, this new guy has 1 post and probably doesn't know the back story on Seth.

OEM covers, have you looked on ebay? Might try Rambo Marine too.

Yeah, he'll jerk your chain around on the deal too.

Seriously though, I'd give your local dealer a call and see what they can do for you. If you want to go the custom cover route, it may end up costing you less and be a better cover. All you have to do is find a local upholstery shop and leave the boat with them for a few days. Good luck with your search.

welcome! first, you must attend cinco de basho http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=59780

second, depending on if you're north or south of I-70, your dealer will either be cincinnati mastercraft or boat house marine in akron. thats for OEM anyway...

You'll come to find that OEM covers are not all they're cracked up to be. evolution or skiboatcovers.com do awesome work, and are better than oem in most cases.

Ya Boathouse said $1100 for a custom cover that is better then OEM and then $850 for an OEM cover.

skiboatcovers.com

While it may cost you a grand for a custom cover it is going to be worth 2k more then an OEM cover and that is a fact.

Consider having it made as others have said. I have 2 custom covers and made the sides longer to protect gel coat and even incorporated a teak platform cover as well.

My boat from boathouse came with one of those custom covers. Good tight fit that I can trailer with it on. Snaps are attached to the underside of the rub rail. Previous owner had it installed, 13 yrs old and still in great shape.

Actually can't repeat has the best source for a waterline length cover and it will protect the sides as he said.

Check out skiboatcovers.com
They supply the local MI dealers with covers.
My buddy has one on his '13 X10 and I just got one for my X9.
He has lots of material options, personally I would only get Sunbrella and different
styles waterline, covering the swim platform and so on.

The OEM covers are junk when it comes to protecting your boat in my opinion. I use mine for occasional docking, but not for sitting out in the sun. You are much better off with someone like skiboatcovers.com

Thanks everyone! I contacted the skiboatcovers.com and they seem like the best way to go vs OEM.

X1, sent you a PM. Since you're in Aurora, check out this thread, post 485 I ask for some cover replacement options. A few local companies recommended.

You will be happy and have zero problems dealing with Bruce @ Action Water. Would highly recommend using them if you decide to go that route.
