Seller says that he has changed floors and carpets and that it has only 270 hrs on a Mercruiser 350 Mpi.
I need your advice on critical checkpoints or something else you may notice at the pictures.
Is it a model '87?

Thats not an 87. I am not positive on year, maybe 83 or 84. Look at the hull id number on the transom, last two numbers is the year manufactured.
It has been repowered. Not necessarily a bad thing.
Gauges have been replaced as well. If they are mph, you are going to be using only half the gauge. I prefer a correct gauge, it allows a more accurate reading.

Τhank you for your reply.
Something about the transmission?

Is that fresh or salt water? If the boat has been used in salt, look very closely for rust and corrosion. I know some folks here will tell you to run from a saltwater boat, and their concerns are certainly justified. Check the trailer too for rust and corrosion.
The two transmission options are a 1:1 or a 1.5:1. There should be a metal tag on top of the transmission. That will have the ratio stamped on it.
Looks like it's in good shape. Someone can correct me, but if it's pre-86, it will have wood stringers, so check for soft spots in the floor. Stringer replacement is possible to do, but based on what folks here say, it's not something you really want to get in to.

The installed speedometer will be next to worthless, but even the OEM Airguides are finicky. If you care about an accurate speed reading you'll use the GPS on your phone, then use the tachometer in place of speedometer.

No more wood stringers after 83 mid year.

I believe that this is an 84-85 model since it has the aluminum dash. Wood stringers went away mid year 1983. My 83 is all glass with wood grain on the dash.

I stand corrected on the wood/glass epoxy changeover year.

If the gas filler is on the drivers side, it's an 84. If it's on the passenger side it still could be a late year 84 or an 85
