Need some help-here is what I am thinking.....my bullseye is scratched up and I am thinking about removing it along with the domed mastercraft sticker and replacing with the new 2014 satin chrome mastercraft logo only. Here is my boat and a few that will give you an idea. Thoughts?

Anyone a photoshop wiz's?

Removing the bullseye will improve the looks, big time. Just took mine off our 08 last week, and I love the way it looks without.

Does wonders for class, very simple clean. It's to bad they don't have a shield with x-45 on it like the new ones, since the 46 moved in

Trying to decide on graphics myself. My concern with the '14 mastercraft logo is the size. To me it seems a little small on the side of the 45 without the new gel breaking it up. I'm thinking of mixing up a few different years and graphics to get something I will like.

I have the same concern too. If I dont like it, I can always go back to the original domed size but at least the bullseye will be off. My brother was trying to talk me into the 2013 swoosh on the front but I think he has swung to my side.

The original MC decals will cost you less than half of the 14 decals. Was going to be over 500 (268 per side IIRC) for the 14 decals. Thought it was a little ridiculous myself...

I don't like the 12 and 13 swoosh. I do love the 14 decals.

I have a 2010 X2 with the same decals as yours and I think from time to time about doing the same thing. However I don't because when I go to buy a boat the more it is to factory specs the more I like it. Something as small as the factory oil filter lets me know the owner has meticulously taken care of his boat. If this is customized and that is customized, I start wondering in my mind what else has been done that I can't see and usually pass on buying it. An example is batteries. In all of my cars or boats, I now replace it with whatever the factory had. Normally they aren't more expensive and I want it to match what was from the factory. When I quit buying Autozone/Napa/Advance Auto batteries I noticed I quit having to change batteries all the time. I have Interstate batteries in my X2. When they need replacing they will get the exact same thing. I don't care if someone else says this one is better or this one. Those are just opinions. They factory felt these are the best and that's what I'm sticking with. Same as oil too. Everyone debates oil to death. It says use Penzoil 15X40 marine Oil and that's what is going to be in there if i have to import it in! I think we all agree the 14 decals are the best in years but a 2008 with all the factory decals and one that has been taken care of is as appealing too.

Just something to think about.

I don't think you could go wrong w/the 2nd or 3rd sample pics.

Agreed - just remove the bullseye and leave the stock MasterCraft decal.

Scott - we need to see some pics.

How hard is it to remove the bullseye. Not real keen on mine.

A bit of time, a blow dryer and some goo remover and it'll be gone.

This is the only one a have right now. No wheels, so haven't been able to get a good shot of it outside.

Easy to remove, hard to wet sand the shadow from underneath.

Looking good!! That will look awesome when the sun hits it. Still toying with the same idea for mine.

I priced the '14 MC raised letter decal in flat black and the X30 badge here locally. Nearly $800...

I want to do it, my boat is yellow and completely stripped. But, I'm choking on the cost justification.

You're crazy. :D

I hated it so much on my '08 I had it removed from my '09 prior to delivery. Asked that the factory not even install it but that wasn't an option

Reviving this thread as I'm considering removing the bullseye. Did you ever do this? Pics? Thanks

I ended up not doing anything as I had to remove the back sticker for buffing and was never able to remove the ghosting and it spooked me.
