THIS weekend in Orlando!
Headed out now. Beats the water in AK. Little hard still this time of year.
Otherwise, some of our repeat trips have been Powell over Memorial Day and a week at Lake of the Ozarks or Table Rock mid summer.

One Saturday each summer my son's church youth group goes out to a local lake for 5 hours. Three boats, 40 kids, 10-15 adults, and a private camp site with a beach, a dock, and a volleyball net in the water. We let the I/Os pull tubes and on our boat we put the boom out to teach skiing and wake boarding. Then they go and have an overnight retreat at the church.

There was one year that this was the only time we took the boat out at all due to injuries. It was still worth having it just for that one time.

We used to do a Mastercraft poker run here on the Muskegon River in Michigan. It was a crazy good time with a bunch of other like minded individuals. About 30 miles total and we always skied it the whole way through. Used as a fund-raiser for Various cancer organizations. Wish it was still going as we always had a great time.

Every year 4th of July week at our lake cabin on Lake Coeur d' Alene. Perfect weather, and on the 4th you get awesome fireworks displays from both commercial jobs and every dock on the lake....good times, can't wait, favorite time of the year....boat all day, BBQ at night, repeat

Canada Day on Shuswap Lake BC. Everyone puddled into Blind Bay (several hundred boats) and watch the fireworks launched off a dock over the bay. LED's on, beer caps off!

Fire on the water at Norris Lake in TN. It's always the Sat before the 4th if July! Usually 30-40 Mastercrafts rafted up. The fireworks are just amazing.

Yes it is worth the trip. Rent a house and stay for a week. I have a friend that rents his house by the week there. Let me know I can get you in touch with him.;)

Our club has staple events that are no miss weekends for me, as well as others...

If you look at our website, I try to attend even event on the calendar.

The biggest is our May camp out held at a private ski lake we rent for the weekend...

Jobbie Nooner I, always the Friday before the 4th of July...there is another one later in the season as well. I've been to Cumberland/Norris/Torch/Ozarks on the 4th and labor day weekends, and for shear craziness this is as ridiculous as it gets.

It is one of those things like Marti Gras that you at least need to experience once in your life.

A little far from FL, but just do a google search for Copper Canyon, Lake Havasu. It is not a family friendly environment. There is also Sand Bar at Lake Havasu and London Bridge. Probably any holiday weekend utter craziness exists.
