Nor-Cal Mastercraft is selling a base 2014 X2 without the gen 2 surf system, Ilmor 5.7, and ZFT 0 tower for $60,895, seems to be a pretty fair price, just curious of opinions. Also I have no experience in guessing trade in (wholesale) value's for used boats, but just curious if your past experience has been they are close to NADA?? I'm guessing No but thought I would ask.

That is a great price................

Trade in will be what the boat will bring on the open market if you are selling it yourself. Most dealers will give you a fair price with a little meat left for them when they resell.

Someone should jump on that deal. Can you give a list of what the X2 has as Options (motor, bimini ect)

Here is the boat, not sure if this trailer is the same one at the boat show

It did have the bimini included, stock jl audio stereo(no sub or tower speakers) stock 0 tower with the cheaper board racks( bungee) but they still swivel.

I will download the pictures I took later and upload the offer sheet with options listed.

That's a nice looking X2, I dig the color combo. 60k is a good deal, even though it is base model. I was looking at a '13 X2 that had more options last Summer and they wanted 75k (special sale price, so I was told :D).....you can always change or add other options to your liking in the future. Trade in all depends on supply and demand in your area, but should be within the ballpark of the NADA value, since that is generally lower than perceived value.

I just looked it up. I still think that is a great deal on a new X2. Are you looking think about getting it? I had an X2 and loved it. If you are you will not be disappointed. That boat does everything well. A great all around wakeboat that will fin in a garage. Good luck and let us know.

I was told that the ZFT 0 tower does fold down, however you have to un bolt the back two allen's then it folds into the boat. I am seriously considering this, pretty sweet boat, especially compared to my '93 maristar, but the maristar is long paid for.. damn boat shows...

I love the colors(and I'm a red and white guy)!!!:D

I bet that boat will be sold at the show this weekend at that price. Sorry.... I'm not trying to tell you to rush out and buy it, I just think thats a good deal compared to everything else MC has at the boat shows(90k-120k):)

Funny to think in 2006 the MSRP on my X2 was $65,000.

Do you ever make it up to Lake Shasta?

No not Shasta yet. Normally go to Bullards Bar reservoir, about 45 min drive for me.

Let me know know if you ever want to come up to Shasta. The wife and kids are up there and I make it back once a month. I hope to be on the lake this year. If we have water!!!!

Thanks, I might take you up on that offer, thought I heard that even though the levels are down, Shasta still has one of the higher lake levels so far.

Shasta is a very deep lake. I think at the dam it is 460 ft deep. That said when it gets this low its hard to find a ramp.

Have you started surfing yet?

Haven't tried surfing yet, the inboard of the maristar kinda hinders that ability, it does throw an o.k wake for a slalom boat though.

Yes that could be an issue. LOL That X2 would be huge compared to you current boat. Did that X2 have the attitude adjustment plate on it? If it dose it will put out a decent slalom wake. the wakeboarding wake will be a lot bigger then the Maristar.

Yes it had the attitude adjustment plate, just not the twin tabs that come with the gen2 surf package.

Attitude adjustment plate is a good option to have. You could add the surf tabs.

Well did you end up with this boat? I saw it at the show and thought it was a good deal as well. Did you see the 21' I/O in the tent that was $62k? Crazy! When we left I told the salesman to go look at the MC and then convince me his boat was better. RIIIIIAAAAGHT!
