I never really post up many pics of my toys, but I figured since this is my first factory build I would share the process with everyone. The boat will move into assembly on Monday, so I will post more pics as they come. Here you go:

No ramp and clamp for the trailer? Is that an option when you do a build?

It was not as of February when my boat finalized selections. Trust me I asked, so I will order one and change it out once it arrives.

Hey Jonb1822, I saw your boat today. I was touring to see my x10 which is likely to enter assembly tomorrow. The green looks really good, especially with the amount of black on the hull. Interior is just coming together.

Wow! Love the interior pic.

I'm thinking about changing out the other amp, but might wait and see how it sounds with the rev 8s and will probably add the led rings. They look cool. :)

My buddy replaced the factory JL amp with a 900/5 and it made all the difference in the world...the tower speakers on his X15 are (2) rev 8's and (2) rev 10's.

Now you are going get all this great stuff in there and it is going to sound awesome...then you are going to float up next to somebody who has an additional sub and you are going to tell yourself "I need that bass". That is what happened to me at least! Fun stuff, enjoy the new ride!

How does the flush kit help with winterization?

Not really just winterization. I mainly use it for warming up the engine, so I can change the oil. I trailer to the lake, so being able to run the boat out of the water helps make the process easy.

Thank you Rivertrash! Picking colors for a new build is such a personal decision, you second guess yourself 100 times...I knew this was a little risky going in because I've never seen a boat with this much black. The finished product is jaw-dropping unique compared to what you see most of the time. I'm very happy with how it turned out. Still trying to decide on the led rings. I'm making final selections for everything at the dealer...I will probably end up doing it.

My dealer will be replacing the two stock Gen 2 ballast bags with the 750lb fat sacs in the port and starboard lockers. They do no fit perfect, but will allow for maximum weight. We will see if it makes a big difference with the Gen 2.

Turned out great! Love the colors as well! I wish MC offered the RGB LED's from the factory...

I ended up going with all the LED's, the blue in the water is the best & didn't want to mix and match. The green would be sweet, but the blue hue at night is beyond cool.

It is gonna be a great summer!

I notice that the trailer has a roller up front (and the winch strap wasn't hooked)... I thought all of the new trailers came with the Ramp-n-Clamp.. or is that an option?

Well I was just there and I had asked for the green LED rings...unless something changed in the last couple of months Green LED's is not an option from the factory. The issue is legally, you cannot have the green or red LED's because they could confuse other boaters as far as what your navigational lights are telling them. I get it from a liability standpoint, but I have seen Green/Red come from factory from other manufacturers...all boats from MC that are green/red are aftermarket from what I understand.

If you find out something different please let me know!

Was at the Knox TN boat show Saturday and spoke with TWRA officials who said my RED lights in my tower speakers is legal in Tn. They only regulate blue as it is a color reserved for law enforcement. Also, no lights can be flashing or blinking of any color on the tower.

Not to beat a dead horse here, but I showed my dealer the pictures of the obviously GREEN LED's, and he just happened to be going to the factory the next day and said he would check into it. This is what he came back with:

"Spoke with the factory. They is no other option from them other than the blue. What you are seeing in the picture is either a weird reflection of the blue or possibly a 2015 photo shoot boat. Out rep couldnít tell from the pic as the resolution was not great, but he suspects it may be a 2015 photo shoot boat that someone snapped a pic of. They did not build any 2014ís with anything other than blue. So, if someone told you that they ordered a 2014 and got to choose a color, they are full of it. They are considering offering choices next year, but are still investigating the different laws and ramifications in different states of the different colors."

Anyway...it is not the end of the earth for me, but just out of curiosity...how did you go about asking for the Green LEDs that are on your boat...is it some fancy 2015 show boat or did you ship the rings down there? I do not think my dealer would lie to me, he has no real reason to and is a great guy all around.

aquaman
03-24-2014, 09:06 AM
They do look a bit Blue-ish green in the pic.

Could just be what they call "blue" ?

CaptainKirk
03-24-2014, 09:35 AM
Max from Mastercraft snapped this picture and sent it to me. It isn't any fancy show boat. Just a boat we ordered to enjoy some wakeboarding and surfing. It should be at my dealer soon so I will confirm color once I see it in real life. All I know is that my dealer asked for green...were told we would get green...and in the picture they appear (to me) to be green. I will confirm once I see it. ol1970...yes, the interior speaker rings are also supposed to be green.
