WHat are the diffferences between the two years. I have driven and skied behind the 07 but am looking at an 06.

as far as the hull goes there is no difference at all.

If you like to '07, you will like the '06.

Same hull, minor cosmetic changes, pretty similar engines. I would not be weary about getting an '06 if you like the way the '07 skis and drives. I have an '08 and we love it.

True slalom tool, and good for beginning wakeboarders who do not need the X-Star wake(which is as tall as most of the students out there). I drop about 700lbs in the rear and 250 up front occasionally to practice high risk wakeboard tricks on our 197. Creates a nicely shaped wake, similar to a SANTE 210 with no ballast.

Hope you find exactly what you are looking for. If you have any further questions, PM me.

And someone correct me if I am wrong about the '06

If you want zero off you will need to go with '07 or newer.

The 2007 is drive by wire and I believe catalyst motor is MCX.

Cats didn't come around until 09, and throttle by wire on all models was instituted in 05

CATS came out in '07.

Drive by Wire came out in '05

Depending on what part of the year the boat was released in and if it was or was not a TT boat, it may or may not have the Zero Off compatible ECU. My '07 does not.

Different wheels on the '07 trailers.

Gauges were white rather than blue.

If it has a full tower, the towers changed. If it has a mini tower, no difference.

Interior vinyl accents are "hammered" texture. 06's were metallic, but smooth.
