I love my 6.0L after 150 hrs. of tournament pulling with not a single problem. I have had alot of Indmars and I can say this is the best engine I have ever had. Could not be happier:D

180ish hours last season on a 5.7 Ilmor X25. Not a single engine-related problem and we're very happy with it.

Loved my 6.0 and ran the new 2012 today with the 5.7 and it ran great and felt good to ski behind. Makes a different sound at idle, kind of poppier than the gurgle of the 6.0

33'F Water and 34'F Air Temp, it was cold for sure but I had to ski behind my new boat.

Going to ski today too, I need to load the steering so I'll probably take two sets while my chief driver gets the boat dialed to his liking. So far so good, this year I ordered it with the buddy ballast. His comment was yesterday that the boat drives like its on rails.

just for a comparison i have a 2008 8.1L indmar with 275 hours and have had no engine issues. it will die on you if you go from acceleration to idle too quickly. had some small leaks at the union of the exhaust manifold and the riser too. all taken care of now. would love to drive an ilmore to compare. congrats on your boats everyone.

100 hours on a 5.7 illmor. very pleased, its much easier to work on than the 350 indmar. Oil filter, etc.. is so much more accessible. It feels a lot better on fuel as well but its tough to compare because I switched from a x-star to a x-25.
