Great looking boat. Love the platform, the interior, the XStar lines, everything.

I'm liking it! What I like to hear is that it handles the chop well, but it sounds like they flattened the hull near the transom to compete with the sports car handling of the BU's. MC may have hit a home run if this thing can come close or turn better than a 23 LSV. We know it will have more storage and better rough water handling! The tower looks simple like the G3, too. Who cares what it looks like as long as it does a superior job.

Love the smaller swim platform for surfing, too!

Wow. And to think there has been talk for years about the X30 going bye bye. That is impressive. Think it comes in black with silverflake SS?:D

I really like the boat EXCEPT for the new "lines" that the new x30 and new x-star will have.

It might be nice for factory +400 but it is still a pretty small and short wave. But, I would bet with 1700+ it could be pretty nice. I'd like to see one weighted down in surf trim.

I am pretty impressed by the first pass here. This is unlike the first look at the basketball interior X-star that is now no longer available to order. It looks much more ready for prime time.

A quote from a guy on wakeworld, and I could not have said it better:

"Big biiiiiiiiig BIG fan of the no-screen dash and I hope to God it continues and that those in-screen dash systems die off. These things (which are ubiquitous right now, found in the big 5 manufacturers and others' top boats) are outdated the day they're installed and are pure headache/nightmare for the road ahead as far as I 'm concerned. You can't install a dashboard computer, and a custom operating system, and not expect it to age quickly. Problem is, these things look terrible to me right now, in 2012. What will they look like in 2015? 2020? These are not stupid questions. Painstaking process to update them... dependence on a software developer that may be gone in a few years... ugh. I hate those in-dash systems so much, as a switches and knobs and breakers kind of person. When you're out on the lake and those stupid dash things fail... ugh. Want to smash them.
Straight analog for me."

I think MC hits a huge home run with this boat. I like the traditional hatch access on the back, not cut up with little tiny openings like an X-25. I have a 5 man water weenie...it would be hard to get that into the storage compartment on an X-25. This boat is simply beautiful. I bet the price is a bit less than an Xstar too.

As long as the wakeboarding wake is great too, we are in phat city here.

You have a 5 man water winnie, too? :D What are the odds?

Do we know if this thing has tracking fins?

Sorry if this is a stupid question... but is this going to be a mid-year release? The website does not show an X30 but does show an X35. When do you think the release of the new X30 will be?

Naw, this will probably be a normal release. Actually saw the first one ready to roll off the line, and this shows they have made a few since.
