Where can i get deutsche dtp connectors. Im trying to make a water proof connector for my under water light so i can remove it easily when i need to change the oil as it screws into my bilge. Everywhere i look they want to sell me in bulk or charge me $20 for shipping.

I need something that I can use with 12awg wire and will be weather proof, doesn't have to be deutsche brand but something similar.

is that the liquidlite? also, how bright is it compared to one of the flush mounts that cost an outrageous amount of money?

12ga is tough to get into a Deutsch connector, but can be done, carefully. You don't need the crimper tool either. Careful crimping with a needle nose to make sure they slide back and clip into the connector and solder the connection.

Thanks Thrall, i also don't think its 12awg looking at ends, looks a lot smaller.

So with it wired up, you cant get your oil drain hose through the plug hole along with the wire?

Im not sure, but id like to be able to disconnect it easily, and take it out if needed. Im pretty sure the oil drain hose is almost the entire diameter of the drain plug hole... i havent tried though
