theoldgirl1990,

That shade of blue is most beautiful. Really LOVE the looks of your boat - heck, it reminds me of summer. That's gotta be nice to look at over the winter.:D

We had that same exact color Prostar back when it came out. What a great boat and you really do not see too many in that color. I have more great memories than I can count behind that boat.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did ours.

sweet looking prostar!

There is a long standing Prostar pic thread here:

This thread will inevitably get put into the existing - just an fyi for when you come back to the site and can't find the thread you made :D

Probably not. There used to be just 3 photo threads, Prostar, Xseries, and Maristars but it seemed everyone needed their own Xmodel thread, SNS thread and whatever else kind of thread. I even made a joking thread about it.

Only X30s, and only 06s and they must be blue but I guess no one saw the sarcasm and just went with it. I'm sure we'll end up with a 190, 197, 205 and 205v photo thread before too long. :D

Post them sweet looking 190s! After all, we need to get through winter some how.

OP great looking boat.

Post a photo or two of your motor in the engine compartment thread if you don't mind.

Much like everyone else, I definitely drool over that beauty. Love the suspenseful arrival as well, nicely played...

I'll have to check the tire size. They are definitely tucked up under there. I'm pretty sure they are original (all except one that exploded). I really should replace the other three.

I love the way it looks but a little more room in the wheel well would be more practical. I was retrieving at a crappy gravel ramp this summer where I had to drop the rear axle off the end. The front tires got stuffed right into the fenders and wouldn't turn. Had to drag it a couple of feet before it would roll. Almost got the Jeep stuck. Cracked the outside of my fender a little.

Different gelcoat, stars and stripes decals, red piping in the interior. Not sure what else makes it different. The LT-1 is a rare option on those boats....I see you have the 351 Ford 285 hp in yours.

Hey Dave,

They're 215/75R14. My tire math tells me that mine are 26.7" total diameter and yours are 26.85". (pending varification by MrMC...:)) The trailers look the same, I wonder if they are. That's something I've actually never read about here, the different eras of MasterCraft trailers...

Thanks! We called it our own personal life raft.

I'm in Colchester (Malletts Bay). I bought this boat from a nice gentleman over in Schroon Lake, NY. This picture was taken on the Plattsburgh - Grand Isle ferry.

Great looking boat. Would love to see some more pics.

Sure, although this is the only other one I have handy at the moment.

1987 PS 190 with Powerslot. 665 hours on the engine, and the interior is very nice. This will be my first ski boat (my folks had a wimpy old 3.0 I/O a few years back) and I'm looking forward to a nice long summer on a slalom ski!

I miss my ol' 93 190 ... but here is a little bit of Goodyear Marathon action that tried to hurt my trip to Lake cumberland in 2002 .... I was not happy ..... boat was shiny .... also Norris in 2004 ..... tugging ..... I miss her .... don't tell my 214 that .....

Peace.

Picked it up late last summer and I've been working on getting it all ready for this season. This image is about two weeks old- it looks a lot shinier now. :D
Best part is that with a Powerslot and a 4-blade, it's got a better hole shot than my buddy's Sanger 215. Who says 'old school' can't hold it's own??

My project boat at its 'completion' although I still seem to have at least 2-3 significant improvement projects a year. She still runs like a top, just broke 1100 hrs.

So cool to see a boat with the same base color and decal upgrade as mine! Was the original teal trim color painted over? I don't thi k I've ever seen a 93/94 black with anything but teal and have thought of getting a new strip of gelcoat. I'll post some pics when I get back to my pc.

Hey Spurrinit, Great looking boat. I have been in and out of a couple of 86 promo team boats like yours. Does yours have the PCM motor or the Indmar? Also, I bet that if you will run your hand up under the gunnel of your boat under the wood squares I have circled in the picture, the foam has probably been hulled out for a Safe-T-Top mount on each side. The boats I have seen with wood squares in that position have been installed to hide the mounting holes drilled into the boat on the deck. Those are very cool to have. Love the old promo team boats.
