I decided that I really wanted a flake boat, so I sold the 2011 X25, and ordered a 2012. Luckily I was able to get rid of the 2011 for the right $$. Although, it would have been smarter to order a flaker last year...... Hind sight is 20-20.

Anyhow, this is what I ordered. It is showing with a ZFT-2 tower, however it will have a ZFT-4, so long as i like it when i see photos of it. If I do not like the ZFT-4, I will get the ZFT-5p. I am hoping to get to TN again this year and tour the factory again. I am not going to lie, the factory tour excuse is also a good way to get out of town with the guys for a couple days. GF likes to question my motives :D

I was tempted to do fire red flake in place of the gunmetal, and then do a viper red welt inside...... It might have looked awesome, but also could have been a big fail....Too risky. So, I decided I would go a bit more conservative. I think it will be a great looking boat.

I know, I know!! Dang it Scott!! I really want to, but, it is too scary with all of that blue on there.

I wish I could find a pic of one with that color scheme. If I could see that, I wouldnt be scared to order it.

In all seriousness guys- Do you think it would look better with fire red flake and gunmetal flake? That was always my other option because of having a blue boat now... I figured the change would be good, but had decided on CBF. I am seriously thinking of changing hull 2 and 4 to Fire red flake now and leave hull 3 in gunmetal.... And then obviously color the interior accordingly.

What is everyones opinion? I know that either one would look awesome. Which do you guys think would look the best?

Just so you know- I have never seen a fire red flake in person. Only CBF, which is why i picked it.....

Fire Red would be my vote. Like the blue too but the red will be stunning. Also resale red.

yep, I played around in the build a boat area yesterday ... although the CBF was nice, I kept going back to the fire red flake with gun metal flake or silver flake (or both if it would let me). not to mention red is my wife's favorite color which would weigh in heavily if I were to ever bite the bullet for a brand new boat. IMHO the red has more pizzaz or bling factor ... but to each their own, as I really like one I have somewhere on here that is almost virtually white that I REALLY like the looks of, really clean lines to it.

Or just go with the blue this year, then change your mind for 2013 and go back to the red. It's really pretty simple.

As it is, I should be kicking my own a$$ for ordering a 2012..... I will have this one for several years..... I can't afford not to...

I looked around online, and found a fire red flake MC nearby. I will go see it in person this weekend. It should give me an idea of which I want. I have seen lots of CBF in person, but never FRF.

You cant go wrong either way, i sold a fire red, gunmetal, black x25 and that was a sweet looking boat! But if you see that CBF in the sunlight without the cover, it is such a beautiful boat!
The CBF is still here if you want me to take a better picture on the sunlight without a cover i'll be happy to!
I looked but don't have any pictures of the fire red with the black, all i could do is more pictures of the WTT 197!

I had the 6.2l in my 2011 also. It is very good on fuel consumption, and has plenty of power. I wouldnt power it with anything else, except maybe an LSA. Too bad Ilmore is not building one....

Do Not Want..... Lime green and/or Orange do nothing for me.
